Lease agreements form the basis for the use of a property and thus breathe life into a plot of land. They regulate why and how the tenant may use an open space, an office building, a retail store, a logistics hall. And for the landlord, they are the economic heart of a property - the rent generates the cash flow, which usually finances the property and, in case of doubt, determines the value of the property.
And: Lease agreements regulate the business relationship between landlord and tenant over a period of many years. They deal with topics such as securing the value of rent, sharing costs for maintenance and repair measures and any construction measures during the rental period.

And if you are the purchaser of the property, we usually start with a thorough review of all relevant documents and information about your target property. Legal design? More than “pretty” contracts!
Legal design is the application of design thinking to the world of law. It serves to redesign legal systems, documents and services in order to make them more human-friendly and user-friendly. So that:
The recipient of the letter from the authorities understands exactly what he needs to do and by when.
The concerned citizen has access to justice because he finds the necessary information and resources to assert his claims.
When signing the mobile phone contract, the consumer knows what obligations he is making and for how long — even if the underlying terms and conditions are extensive.
Legal design has long since found its way into our law practice. For the better. At B|LEGAL, we apply the principles of legal design in our work on a daily basis to improve our communication and work results.
Contract Design makes our contracts better—more balanced, clearer and more accessible. We avoid cumbersome legal language, avoid endelss sentences and include visualizations where this creates added value.
Information Design supports the structure and presentation of all our work results — whether the legal opinion, the court brief or “just” an e-mail to you.
Process Design helps us streamline and standardize processes, whether in our consulting practice or in your company. For example, we create so-called contract playbooks to standardize and speed up your contract creation and negotiation, or help you automate contracts right away using appropriate software.
